Ferries depart regularly from Cullen Bay to Mandorah.

Trains run from Darwin, through Alice Springs to Adelaide.

Long distance coach services operate between Darwin and most major regional centres.

Taxis can be hailed from the street, or engaged at ranks in and around the city. Tipping is not customary.

WHAT THE LOCALS SAY
"There is public transport, but if you really want to enjoy the Territory, you should have a car."
