MELBOURNE
PLACES TO LIVE
Bayside extends from Port Melbourne and St Kilda, with the advantages of an inner city lifestyle, to the beach side suburbs of Brighton, Sandringham and Mentone. A convenient commute to the city centre, the Bayside suburbs offer larger family homes with handy access to beaches.
Inner city is a mix of newer apartment developments, including the Docklands and South Bank, extending radially to the older suburbs of South Yarra, Richmond, Carlton and North Melbourne. It offers a vibrant city lifestyle with excellent public transport - you won't really need a car.
Inner South East is home to some of Melbourne's
best schools with well regarded leafy family suburbs including
Malvern, Camberwell, Hawthorn, Surrey Hills and Kew.
Outer East are more recently developed suburbs
extending along the Yarra Valley to semi-rural locations.
These suburbs provide an excellent opportunity for space and
larger homes less than an hour from the city centre.
Inner West offers less expensive accommodation
close to the city with a mixture of new estates and older
style homes. Williamstown, on the west of the bay, combines
the features of a seaside village with all the advantages
of the city cafe lifestyle.
