KARRATHA EDUCATION

Children generally start school at 5 or 6 years old. They attend primary school until they are 11 or 12 and then go on to secondary school.

Primary education is available at four state primary schools and one catholic primary school.

Secondary education is available at Karratha Senior High state school and St. Luke's Catholic College. There can be waiting lists for St. Luke's so it is a good idea to contact them early to ensure places are available.
