PERTH FOR CHILDREN

Perth is a delight for children of all ages. An excellent newspaper called Kids in Perth is published each month and gives an overview of what is on for children during the month. Perth International Children's Festival is a highlight of the events calendar, and is held each year in November.

Our Education Consultant's top 5 days out in Perth:

Perth Zoo with spectacular gardens, walkways and picnic areas not to mention one of Australia's best collections of native and exotic animals.

Aquarium of Western Australia gives you the opportunity to walk down a 98m tunnel with thousands of colourful fish, sharks and stingrays swimming all around you. You can even touch sharks and stingrays at the Discovery Pool.

Kings Park comprises 400 hectares of parkland, playgrounds, wildflower gardens and panoramic views of the city.

Museum of Western Australia has an excellent gallery of Aboriginal culture; dinosaur skeletons and a great collection of meteorites.
