PERTH TRANSPORT

Perth has a good public transport system, serviced by train, bus and a very modest one-destination ferry service across the Swan River to Fremantle.

Transport on the routes going into and out of the inner city are well serviced, however getting across the greater city can sometimes be difficult with changes of transport type. This is improving slowly.

Transperth provides bus, train and ferry services as part of an integrated system. A single ticket can be used for all services.

Central Area Transit (CAT) system is a free city bus service within the central business district.

HOW WE CAN HELP
"Perth's public transport system is good for getting you into the central city and out again but is not so good for travelling between suburbs, for which a car is strongly advised."
